You should probably check with the Wisconsin DNR before you make a trip up to either of those lakes. Usually, they aren't open in the spring until the first Saturday in May. I'm not sure if that still holds but it would stink to drive all of the way up there and not be able to fish.

Gamefish is closed till may, but you can pan fish. Iwas by del. sun.3-17 no ice anywhere a couple of boats were out.Prob. for crappie or perch. RIP SOME LIPS!!!& post reports.
