Wow , what a day. Bassfest!
Launched around 8:00 . Dense fog, wind, most sane people would have stayed home. After getting soaked on the way out, we headed by GPS to the warm side. Fog was so thick you couldnt see 10ft in front of you. Any way started nailing them on the first cast. Most were 12 to 14 inches, caught a few 16 to 17 inchers too. They seemed to like about 70 deg water. We fished the warm water discharge area and it was 82 deg. Didnt catch much there. Seemed any green /yellow looking crankbait did the trick in the 70 deg stuff, wacky worms worked as well. Caught fish up until 2:30. Sun seemed to shut them down a bit. As a bonus I hit a rock and bent my skeg. Oh well. good day all in all :-D
