We trolled all over the N side near the hot water discharge with only a small striper to show for it in about 3 hours. We decided the bite wasnt worth the putting up with the cold. We were cranking rapalas down the N shore lines and around the borrow pit. The small striper came outta the burrow pit closes to the hot water discharge on the north side.

I dont know why the bite was so shitty today. Any theories? Did the cold front turn them off? Wasnt it just as cold last weekend? I am very disappointed. I was expecting a much better day of fishing.

Cold front my guess, marked alot of suspended fish onSat.Only 2 stripers for us.A giant drum though. Finally gave in and anchored in the shoot and had some good cat action, nothing giant.Bassers seemed to be doing ok working in close in 70 water.
Hang in there great trolling action coming up. :)2
