I wish...This is a 38# out of the Santee Cooper chain in South Carolina. I was there to learn how to sight fish bass but the weather stunk. We hired a catfish guide that showed me techniques that would hopefully work on LaSalle. The key was using fresh caught bait (they had this fish that they called a perch, but it wasn't) and using just the heads. We drifted using a special rig that all the guides down there all use. The key was to drif with the bait suspended 1-2 ft off the bottom. Look for the deep holes and use a drift sock to slow the drift on windy days. I will let you know if it all works on Monday.
