Fished LaSalle from 12:45-3:00 P.M. My friend and I fished the cold side by post #33. The wind was blowing strongly back into our faces. We had good luck with crawlers under a float about 3 ft down. Between the 2 of us we got 13 white bass (4-9 in.), 2 hybrids (6 in.), and one smallmouth (13 in.). All were caught by casting out 12-15 ft. from shore and letting the bait drift back in. Fish were pretty much equally spread among the 15 ft, with no distence from shore being best. You would get nothing if you casted farther out though.
