I'm rolling a few trips last week into one ... mostly b/c there wasn't much to report - I fished in the Naperville area for a few hours after work last week - mostly swimming a jig and twister along the shoreline/eddys... only a few dink smallies to report, but it was still fun! I've heard reports of better fishing early in the AM, but I haven't tested it myself - hopefully this cold front doesn't slow things down as it seems we're moving in the right direction!

Oh yes! Keep in mind that the West Branch in Naperville runs a long way north and south. Personally I'd concentrate on areas north of Ogden and/or South of 75th. Less people, more shoreline access.

fishnmagician- don't have much time, but on your advice, am going to try Knoch Knolls park. I'll let you know how I do!

I went by that other park, Weigand park, no luck. I only fished about an hour though. Any suggestions for spots/ what to use in this area of the river?
