I do this every year, and I love it! After the couple warmer days, and a blowing south wind, I head to a local pond. Fish the north side where it has been piling up warmer, oxygenated water, and hold on! I went at night, fishing for only an hour. First 30 minutes were spent trying some different baits, and last half hour was catching. 6 bass between 13-16 inches, all very healthy. What a blast! There was about a 10 sq. ft. area that I had to hit, otherwise nothing. I didn't come dressed well enough, so I had to call it quits. Give it a try at your favorite local spot....it works for me every year.
