Hey fishinut, you may want to check out Navionics HotMaps Explorer. Its a DVD that you download to you PC. Has 10,000 lakes on it. It lets you view the lake before you get there. Plus it used to allow you to download one of them for free. Its pretty cheap at 20 bucks. Won't replace a chip, but it is a nice tool to have.

I just picked up the fishing hotspot pro map for the northern section, over 1900 lakes and something like 180 are hotspot maps with fishing info.I happen to be on vacation to Turtle Flambeau Flowage that same week so I cannot rent it out but I picked mine up off ebay for 67.00 shipped so it is definitely worth it. Also as an added bonus alot of the smaller streets from small towns are included too.

Already have a paper map of the lake. I'll need the chip for navigation.
