planning on heading to savana area on march 22-24 never been out that way before any tips or insights would be appreciated whats the best method for fishing walleyes out there? thanks mike

it's been a while for me but i'm sure jigging the wing dams will still work. 1/2 oz
and sometimes leader with a floater. good

The fish will be most likeley on the move around then.Check outside bends or eddies on the main channel. Look for wings with less current on them.If you need more give me a email.John

i'd also try the rip-rap area east bank along rt 84 it borders a deep drop off and is less current (i'm not a walleye fisherman, though) that area isn't far from the miller lake boat ramp... there's a nice fishing hot spots map of pool 13...you should check it out. it's a nice area to boat and fish.

whats up there in savana weekend before easter with my brothers we killed the largmouth 17 in one day use sharp truce spinners with a dubbel willow leave in 7-10 ft of water along shores we cought 3 18s and 19 and a quarter good luck
