Fished Montrose harbor from 4:00pm - 5:30pm. Air temp about 53F, light S winds, water still very churned up and dirty, but calm. Fished along west side of harbor near (but not on) the docks with orange jig/grub, slow retrieve. No perch for me. There were at least 25-30 people fishing on the docks (which were unlocked) and none of them were doing much better. Saw 4 or 5 perch caught, none of legal size! No Coho. Spoke with some of the regulars who all said the action had been very slow in the harbor, not sure on the horseshoe. I'm gonna try the horseshoe this weekend. Dale Bowman claims that the fish are moving North from 95th, so maybe they'll be in my neighborhood for the weekend!! Any other reports on Montrose???

I was at Montrose with a friend from 6:30 am till 1:30 pm. Together we kept 13 perch, most over 10". At least 30 smaller perch were release to fight another day. We were using Wolf River rigs with minnows and soft shells from last year. We were fishing at the end of the docks. Fish turned off at around 1 pm.
