Was at the weigh-in Sun, and there were lots of very nice fish brought in. DNR said there were over a dozen 5 pound plus SAUGER for the weekend. Congrats go out to the Dalzot's AGAIN. Nice to see locals beating all the "PRO's"

Guys,
Just a few more details from the Walleye Central press release about the tournament, thought you would like to know:
1422 fish caught, total weight 3588 lbs, thats a 2.46 lb average weight.
The winning teams fish were caught on 3/8 oz orange jigs in 15-17 ft of water. The winners I believe were mostly fishing from Starved Rock on down, and the other top teams worked the Peru flats/clam beds as well as a bunch of other areas. All the fish are now at the LaSalle hatchery being milked for eggs and milt.
I predict the ramp at the park is gonna fill quickly this weekend!
