[Sbbowfishing]

Looking for some info on places I could bowfish in lake county out to Winnebago county. I don't have a boat so preferably places I could shoot from shore without running into trouble. Talked to some DNR guy on the phone today and it was no help at all. Please help!

These are some of the best places you can find during summer. You can also go to spots where creeks and streams go into lakes and rivers. Just check with the authorities first so you don't end up bow fishing in the wrong area. You can find a lot of great places on archerytopic.com. It is a blog where bow hunters and bow fishers share places and regions where it is fun to hunt. By the way, it would be great if you get a boat. Sometimes you can find great places to fish, but you can't get to them without a boat.
