Well after the talking with the guys that fished on Satuday, we were not expecting too much action Sunday. We hit the water at 7:30 and set up in 30fow just south of the harbor. Didnt mark much so we headed east and once we got to 40fow we had the first fish of the year, and once agian Stan laned the first fish of the year. After the it was 2 bites here 2 bites there all in the 40's, we didnt get any hit out side of 45'. Once the wind kicked up the bite died and we headed in going 5 for 8. From talking with other boats on the water sounds like the bite is south of us but when the wind kicked up the bite died all over

Thanks for the report Little King :)2 Spoke with another charter captain, don't know if i can mention his name here but he said all the charters he spoke with each only had a few as well. Looks like the bite down by Pastrick has tailed " 411 from some of my friends, 2 boats=1 Brown" off so them Coho's should be around your neck of the woods anyday now. We opted for Perch and did well in 65ft of water just east/southeast of Waukegan problem is the weather was wrong with the light and variable winds called for the morning. We were bouncing pretty good out there in a 16ft Lund till about 8:30 when the winds started to pick up even stronger out of the Northeast and we called it a morning.
