I was just wondering if anyone has had any consistent luck with pike in the St. Chuck or Elgin areas yet. I have only been out once, not luck. Also, when do the crappie start moving shallow, and what areas should I look for? I know that the fox has crappie, and I have caught a few, but I am looking for a way to get into a little more consistent action. Thanks in advance for any help.
Try around the Ferson Creek area, just north of St. Chuck. the mouth of the creek and up stream is gererally a very productive spot in the spring, both for northerns and crappie, unless you go with Pat, and then all you will catch is crappie.
