I just purchased a set of Offshore boards and would like information on the best way to set them up and use them. Want to get out next week if I can get some free time. Thanks.
2 I like using the OR 18 releases that allow some adjustment of tension for the front release and then either the standard release on the back or a snap swivel. The OR 18's allow you to snap the release but allow the board to remain attached to the board when the fish strikes but still slide down to a barrel swivel you use for terminal tackle. Attach a 2-3 foot leader onto the barrel swivel and your lure to a snap swivel on the end of the leader and you're set.http://www.offshoretackle.com/prelease.htm
