I spent 4 hours on Pondo Saturday. Water temp was in the low 40's. I had one light bite in one of the smaller back bays but that was all. Not many boats out yet. It's tough to figure out how to fish these lakes with the water being so clear and with most shorlines very steep. I've fished northern Wisconsin a lot and am programmed to look for wood in the water and shallow weed beds and I didn't have to contend with clear water.I have much to learn! Mazonia is a beautiful place though, and just sitting in a boat and enjoying the view is half the fun.
