Hit 31st this morning & had to fight for a spot on the pier.
There must have been 6 to 8 rubberbanders using up all the good real estate out there.
The old guys were doing okay early, saw a couple guys take their limit.
Even saw one guy hide his limit in his trunk, and come back for more!
JERK!!

I got skunked fishing a rod. powerliners had all the action on crawlers.

bite seemed best before 11am, they were hitting about 25 to 30' out.

"POWERLINERS"........Geez! :)32
Take er easy magician. No reason for the mad face or the "GEEZ". He's a new guy who only has 3 posts. He might be new to the area, or fishing altogether.

Rubberbanders are guys that use powerlines. This is something that gets shot out into the water a few hundered feet and holds around 20 hooks that are usually spaced 10 - 20 feet apart. It's a pretty cool way to fish. Go down to one of the harbors one day and watch the guys shoot them out and fish em.

Oh yeah, and if you see a guy shoot his line out and lose a rod at the same time as it gets tangled in the line..........That would be Big Saw....my dad!!!

OK, I'm sorry. Just a knee jerk reaction to that question under the post title "Powerliners at 31st Street This Morning" and that particular Emoticon was unintentional.

:-D /welcome Tank :)36
