Had some good conditions with warmer temps and low winds today, so Scott and I went up to the basin. Lots of fish scattered on the flat. After a few misses we started nailing them including a couple nice long shots on the 2 buffs I got today. Scott got his first fish of the year, the first fish he shot at this year! We actually stopped shooting the carp cause we had enough and went trophy hunting, but it would have been easy to fill the boat with them. Good average size for the fish, around 10lbs. Got one at 11+. Only shot for about 2 hrs though as the troller gave me more problems and I had to mess with it for about half an hour. Its going to Wilrae today!! I think in a few weeks when we have our shoot the bowfishing will be at a peak!
