Private Lake, 4/15/02

Fished a private lake near Stockton 4/15/02, got there late. Fished from 8:30-2:30, total 2 bass on road runner type lures and my partner got a 5.8 lb(on the berkley digital scale) 25" walleye trolling a red frenzy crankbait over a rock hump in 15' of water. Hit the north end of lake where a creek comes in heavily with jig n pig, nada. Surface temp was 61 degrees in warmest spot we found, much cooler elsewhere. Fish(crappie, bass, bluegill, northern)were in the clear shallows but wouldn't touch anything. Water temps still a little cool, another week of this weather should really turn them on.
