Fished a retention pond today. Nightcrawler on a small hook two feet under a float. Fished within 20 feet of the intake ( water coming from the street ). Many small Bluegill.....all 5", 6 Black Crappie.........8 to 9" ( missed a few others ), 5 Largemouth Bass.......9,12,14,14,18.5" ( they all were great fighters )

All fish swimming again.

The retention pond is in Carol Stream. North of Rte. 64 and west of county Farm Rd.
Any retention pond that has fish ( and they pretty much all do ) is a good place to fish when it's raining.
