River conditions 3-14-02
Report from Ottawa as of Thursday evening (3-14-02) The river is somewhat high & dirty. Although it was getting dark when I checked, I’d estimate that the visibility was about 6 in. or so. We had some rain in the area this morning, but I don’t think it will make much difference. The boat docks are not out yet in Ottawa, but launching a boat from the east boat ramp should be no problem. Short version – not ideal conditions, but “fishable”.
