Rock creek was the place to be today. The water level was wadeable and in spite of the wind, the smallies were hittin'. I caught about 10, most of which were in the 10" range, but I did catch one that was FAT. She went about two pounds. The most interesting part of the whole experience was the fact that every fish was caught on a Pop R. Conventional wisdom says that it's too early to be working the surface, but these fish evidently didn't read the book of conventional wisdom.
