Went out on a beutiful day looking for Bass not Muskie.

Got me 2 LM about 1-1/2lbs each healthy looking fish on a YUM Dancing Eel Like This one here on this webpage but the silver gray looking color

I also seen about 6 Muskie along the shoreline on the west side near the boat lunch, they were spawing!!!

...I was out there yesterday as well. We ended up with 3 LM, 1-2 lb, out of 20-30 fow by that submerged forest in the middle of the lake. Caught on jigs and yum dingers with chartreuese tails. I'm new to shabbona and its a nice lake but yesterday there were SO many boats out, it was nuts!
We actually found a tree with a flat on one side and a drop on the other and anchored about 40 feet away and casted to the try, just letting the baits drop down.

It was a beautiful day.....gotta love the spring.
