Anyone have any information/ experience with steelhead stream fishing Lake Michigan tributaries in Wisconsin. Just was thinking it seems like something that would be a blast.

it seems that your closer to Indiana and I know they have plenty of streams.

I usually get an annual license for wisconsin so I like to make it up there a few times. But either way If there are some great places to go in either state or in Il for that matter I would love to try it.

I've been fishing the creeks for over 20 years, It is a blast!! lots of big fish in there. both the steelhead and king state records have come out of trail creek. I just started fishing the creeks with a centerpin last year and dont know how I fished 20 years without one. you will not be disappointed. just dont get discouraged if you dont get fish right away, it takes time to learn how to fish the creeks.
