I'm only guessing, but if they are open now you could try for last years left-overs, until they close for this year's stocking.

IFI 2002:
11) It shall be illigal to possess trout during the period of March 15 to 5AM on the first Saturday in April which were taken during that period.

Aha! i found out it opens on April 7 at 5 am. I release all my fish anyway so I might be able to sneak in early. Why does everyone get mad at me when i release my fish?!?!? Its the right thing to do. If you release your trout, there will be fish to catch later, like the next week!

If you don't mind getting fined, by all means sneak in early. Lakes are closed down for the week prior, and that goes for all species. At least it works that way in the CCFP

To Ah's comment - "Why does everyone get mad at me when i release my fish?!?!?"

Some get mad if you keep fish, some get mad if you let them go. This is America where we have the freedom to choose. Chose to ignore those who give you their opinion, especially if they are some one you don't know or don't respect.

Also, as mentioned above, you will get ticketed if you fish in a lake that is closed whiele the trout adjust.
