Anyone have any technique to share to entice trailing Browns to strike. Last night I spent an hour casting to and figure eighting browns off a dock. The fish followed various cranks (Shad Raps, Wiggle Warts, Fat Raps, Suspending Sticks) right to my feet, a long rod allowed me to figure eight the bait with the fish right on the rear treble. Speed didn't matter fast, slow, stop and go all resulted in follows, as did suspending and rising. What gives? Sluggos? Roaches?

I think you are on to something with the sluggos. I would have another rod rigged with some sort of soft plastic or live bait and no weight. When that fish is trailing, drop your rod and flip that soft plastic in front of it. I have used that technique to catch bass that hit short on a spinnerbait. Let us know what happens.
