tuesday pike fishing

i had to try it one more time. casting spinnerbaits and spoons, while fishing a large roach under a bobber about 2 feet down. i fished all over the backwaters, and hit a creek mouth. nothing on the roaches, but finally i saw a pike. i had one roll on my spinnerbait that went around 25" and was pretty girthy for a 25"er. maybe they are feeding? has anybody caught any pike this year?
