I have never been turkey hunting, would love to try. Anyone know any Turkey guides in Northern IL or Southern WI. Wild only, not interested in caged hunts. Also anyone know the prices they charge.

The deadline for applying for a turkey tag has come and gone. (they are done as a lottery and are county specific same as deer)

However, if you go to the DNR website, you should still be able to apply for the "random daily drawings" for whatever county still has not met their quota of tags to issue out. Try to find a county that has the most available tags left, and then look for a guide accordingly.
