First fish of 2002. A 12" largemouth caught by my daughter on my "prototype" twin spin! The contraption has 2 copper blades (#2 colorado I think) riving side by side above a 1/32oz pink jighead with a 2" white twister tail.
It's only one fish, but heck, I'm thrilled that any of the wiry things I made over the winter catch anything!

Congratulations to you and your daughter!

I love to hear when anyones Rube Goldberg creation works out. I've discarded 100's of "great" doodads that couldn't handle reality.

We have to remember that someone made the first rubber work (Creme) and fish hooks didn't start out with "eyes". Somebody had to be first.

Good Luck

Glad you figured it out and it works. Lucky I could read the post. It is 10 AM Saturday and no one else is browsing the site. That is why it was fast enough that I didn't quit.
