Looking for any update on the water level. Going out saturday, first time at LaSalle for a couple of years. Sounds like the old standbys are the bait of choice, Livers and Shad Raps? Any info would be appreciated.

Coming out of the ramp area was about a foot. I ended up moving in and out of there with the electric. We stayed away from the large flat and went to the left right away. We never saw less then 4.5 feet, Came back the same way and stayed on plane til we got close to the ramp area. You can look at the shoreline and see how low the water is. Caught plenty of small cats, Two good size smallies, my brother caught the 17 incher, and a feww gills. All on artificials. Was able to teach my nephew how to work the electric, all in all it was a pretty good day!
