After viewing the Lake Michigan thread everyday, I can't help but notice all the interest in the Waukegan area. Whether it be in a boat or on the rocks. A lot of people COUNT on the posts. Here's mine. Are there any Brown's still being caught at the South Rocks???
Please keep all the info coming. It can only be good for the economcis of Waukegan.

I spent some time out in Waukegan yesterday and with all this wind the fish have pushed out to about 35 feet of waters and were in the lower half of the water column. Now the fish may have pushed deeper due to the 3 to 5 footers that we were fishing in, took a wicked pounding.

Downriggers and wire rigs with 16 oz weights were the only thing that picked up fish. All the fish came on spoons.
