Has anyone been to waukegan lately fishing for browns or coho. I am a begginer when it comes to fishing for any fish in lake michigan. I made it up once or twice in the fall and caught a huge 20 pound king of government pier, but thats in the past. I want some coho. I can make it up the last weekend of april, what do you guys suggest my arsenal contain? Are they still hitting live baits or are spoons the way to go?
Please help a guy in need, i am cpr!

This is easy, light line 6lb, slip bobbers size 2 bait holder hooks nightcrawlers 3 to 5 down. Litte cleos, cast past your bobber to draw fish to it.Works!
If the schools in it is hot.
Last time I fished for spring Coho there was
three years ago and got 9 coho.
Not bad day,My sons arms where in bad shape he was 5 years old.
Cut bait later in the year. Fillet a Alwife cut the silver part off and use the back skin and meat and let it hang straight under the bobber to.
I will be back to fish Waukegan this fall.
