Fished Cal Park today from noon till 2.
Wind out of the south was not bad. The water temps are still in the mid to upper 30's.
That's bad. Over a dozen powerlines out, many folks with rod and reel (like me), and the DNR checking every boat that came in. I saw one Coho caught with a rod/reel, and nothing else. As I was leaving, a guy told me that he was there since morning and saw 6 Salmon caught and ZERO Perch. The place was mobbed.
Chalk up this victory for the fish....not the fishermen.
