Hi all,

I'm not sure this is the right board for this, but here goes.

I fished the West Branch Reservoir on Army trail Rd. today, for trout. No bites for me. A few anglers caught some, not many. Reports are: early morning was best. Waxies, worms, Power baits all took fish.
Now a question-- What in the world are the orange fences arranged in rectangles and "mazes" in shallow water on the opposite side of the lake from the parking lot???

i believe that they are used for aquatic vegitation. there isnt much in the lake and i think that they are trying to introduce some. the fenches i think help to keep ducks and geese out as well as fish and turtles.
