For anyone who wants to learn a great deal about weather, I suggest going to WGN TV's web sight. The 26th annual Fermi Lab Severe Weather Seminar was free to the public. Due to its popularity, many people are not able to get into the seminar. So, now on the WGN Weather Blog websight, you can view over a dozen lectures and demonstrations on weather, including the Derachio of August 2007, the January 2008 tornadoes, and a whole lot more. You can even download papers on how to protect yourself and others in cases of severe weather. It is amazing to watcxh all the videos. We are now into the "prime" severe weather/tornado" season in the Chicagoland area, and I suggest all outdoors-minded on here, to check this out. It is hosted by WGN's Chief Meteorologist Tom Skilling. (I've seen 4 tornadoes in the Chicago area in my life. Severe weather occurs in this area. Don't get hurt!)
