OK, I'm looking for info on how to get hooked up with some stream run steelheads, I would prefer to use spinning tackle. Any good places to go...best times of the year...any info would be great...

A lot of good information on this topic is already on the Indiana portion of this website. Scroll through past history, or use search function and look for posts on Trail Creek, Little Calumet and other creeks in NW Indiana. It takes an Indiana license of course, but it's not too far away and there is access.

You can also look in the Wisconsin section for stuff about the Pike or Root Rivers just across the border into WI.

Good luck. Where are you hoping to go?

the best thing to do is to scowl old posts on this and other sites. try northern indiana fishing site, the steelhead site, and chi-town angler. there's more than enough information to get you started. steelhead can be caught year round in indiana with a fairly simple spinning setup. good luck!
