I fished the Wolf upriver from Fremont last weekend. We didn't catch any fish but it sure is nice to listen to geese and cranes and stare at the woods versus staring at buildings and listening vehicle traffic while fishing. I really dislike living in the Chicago area. I'm guessing 1-2 more weeks before I'll catch any number of fish up there.

I had a couple of friends up in fremont this weekend. fished winiconne to fremont. They got one nice walleye, with some small ones mixed in and a handful of northern. The stripers should start in about 3 weeks depending on weather.
