I saw a story in the Sun-Times that I got a kick out of. NASCAR made a driver remove a decal from his car because they said it promotes a bad image for the sport. They made him remove a decal for an outdoor products co. called *******.COM I was thinking about it and was wondering what image they would rather have? ******* good ole boys or older guys who cant get it up anymore. (there are 2 cars carry logos promoting products for erectile dysfunction)

NASCAR has always had a double standard of sort with sponsors. A few years ago a struggling team picked up Crown Royal as a sponsor, but NASCAR didn't want hard alcohol being advertised. So apparently hard liquor is not ok, but beer is? :-? . I also will have to dig it up, but in the early 90's there was a team that had the SONS OF THE CONFEDERACY, or something along those lines as the sponsor, but they were told that the stars and bars was inappropriate for the sport.
